why we prefer to work with open source

• Using proprietry web technologies such as ASP.NET, ColdFusion or JSP has its advantages, however we at Glossopteris feel that the open source solutions are of equal quality and the cost savings to you the customer are more than worth it. In addition we champion the idea of open source software platforms and see this is a good thing for the growth of the web.
• While we are happy to include small Flash items within a site, we prefer to not create complete sites in Flash. We believe that we can create sites of equal quality in XHTML/CSS/Javascript that are far better from an acccesibility point of view and are much more visible to search engines such will give maximum exposure for your site.
